چکیده

Debris flows can be considered a type of landslide with large velocities and long run-out distances. There are many types debris flows, depending on the properties solid fluid components mixture. The triggering propagation studied using single 3D mathematical model. computational cost very high because their length, depth-integrated models provide good combination accuracy cost. Both combined in analysis, for initiation at singular points where more is wanted. As chain strength never higher than that weaker link, we have to ensure all accurate enough joint This paper deals new model which take into account changes caused by dewatering flow.

A New Approach for Constructing Pore Network Model of Two Phase Flow in Porous Media

Development of pore network models for real porous media requires a detailed understanding of physical processes occurring on the microscopic scale and a complete description of porous media morphology. In this study, the microstructure of porous media has been represented by three dimensional networks of interconnected pores and throats which are designed by an object oriented approach. Af...

Two Phase Flow Pressure Drop Calculation Using Homogeneous Equilibrium Model

Although two-phase flow is frequently encountered in various location of the process plants, there is no a general accepted and verified two-phase flow model that may be used to size lines for such conditions. An obvious example is condensate water return lines. The API method that used in this study is based on the homogeneous equilibrium flow assumption, that is, equal velocity and equal temp...

Study of convergence confinement method curves considering pore-pressure effect

The design of underground spaces is mainly carried out using empirical, analytical, and numerical methods. The convergence confinement method (CCM) is an analytical technique that is widely utilized in analyzing the stability of underground spaces. However, the main challenge in the stability analysis is the selection of an accurate constitutive model for rock mass, and particularly, its post-f...

Evaluation of pore water pressure foundation and core of Sivand dam after the first dewatering period in comparison with the actual instrument results

Increasing the pore water pressure in the body of dams will reduce the effective stress and thus reduce the shear strength of the body materials of the dam, which can lead to dangerous results and cause instability of earth dams. According to nonlinear behavior of earth dam, behavioral models of Mohr–Coulomb and hardening soil model are used to model the dam and body materials. In this study, u...

Experimental Results of Pressure Fluctuations in a Water Conduit Section Due to Formation of Unstable Two-Phase Air-Water Flow

The study of two-phase fluid flow behavior in hydraulic structures such as pressurized flow tunnels, culverts, sewer pipes, junctions and other similar conduits is of great importance. A two-phase mixture flowing in a pipe can exhibit several interfacial geometries such as bubbles, slugs or films, depending on the fluid and hydrodynamic properties of flow. The main variables, giving rise to a v...
